Prepared to Respond, Ready to Care
The Western Cape has experienced increasing levels of disaster risk due to the exposure to a wide range of climate change conditions and weather hazards. Severe storms, flooding, drought, and residential fires have resulted in undue hardship, devastation, and suffering for the most vulnerable and poor.
Delays in response while resources are being mobilised can mean the difference between swift relief and prolonged suffering, which is why we are committed to strengthening disaster preparedness in the province.
Cape Care Fund aims to raise emergency relief funds that are available when needed. Our goal is to empower NPOs and NGOs with the resources they need to respond without delay, bringing urgent support to those in need, when they need it most.
Support emergency preparedness for rapid reponse to disasters.
With your help, we can ensure that help is available the moment disaster strikes.
